How Long Does Fiberglass Pool Installation Take?

A typical installation follows these main stages:

1. Choose Your Fiberglass Pool Model

6. Plumbing
The pool’s plumbing will then be connected.
This will include skimmer, return lines and optional pool lighting
Some components need to be installed on site due to transportation requirements. For example, the skimmer is installed on site rather than being attached to the pool shell before shipping.
7. Backfilling & Filling the Pool
Once the pool is properly positioned and the necessary connections are completed, the area around the pool is backfilled according to installation requirements.
The pool is filled with water as the installation progresses, helping the installation team maintain the proper conditions around the shell.
8. Concrete Installation
Once the pool installation and backfilling are complete, the concrete surrounding the pool can be installed.
Homeowners can choose from options such as standard, stamped, coloured or exposed aggregate concrete, depending on their preferred backyard design.
Weather, site conditions and the size of the concrete area can affect the timing of this stage.
9. Pool Equipment Installation
Once the plumbing is in place, the pool equipment can be installed and connected.
